Clash of the Titans- Round 3

Today is a big day. Why you ask? Well, its only the 3rd Clash of the Titans to happen between 2009-2010. That's right, its going to be #1 vs. #2 in International Women's Soccer. The USWNT vs. The Germany WNT.


The excitement starts at 6pm on ESPN 2, as #1 USWNT will take on #2 Germany WNT. This is sure to be an interesting match. Its always interesting to see the top two ranked teams go at it! Due to the fact that the past 2 recent matches between these Women's World Giants have been in other countries (Germany in October 2009, and in Portugal for the Algarve Cup Final back in March), they were never televised. Since this match is in the U.S., all us USWNT fans out there can actually watch the game, since our country will broadcast the domestic matches. This game will be a real treat, seeing some of the best Women's players represent their country, and display some high quality soccer. I never like to predict winners, but I am very confident in the USWNT, and believe they deserve the # 1 rank. They've proven it against Germany 2 times already, so why not do it again? Still, the Germans cannot be underestimated. They have a lot of talent on their team. I'm expecting to see some excellent soccer from both contenders today.


This was pretty much just a post to remind you that the big game is today! Then again, who could forget about a fixture like this? It's too good to pass up.
