Some Info You Might Want To Know

Hello everyone! Here to do some updating. Let's get started!

WPS- There's been a lot of talk regarding Free Agents. No one has really been signed yet, but the Western NY franchise has announced its first 6 players. They'll be anouncing their official name and logo soon as well. As for Free Agents, no one is expected to be signed until beginning of December, since the USWNT-Italy game is in the forefront right now. But, expect to see teams negotiating with players like Marta, Sinclair, Kai, Buehler, O'Hara, Lloyd, etc!

Germany 2011 is almost set- Women's World Cup Qualifiers are just about done! South America's regional competition is over, which means 2 more teams have joined the Elite. Those teams are Brazil and Colombia. All that leaves to be decided is the 16th and final berth. That berth will be decided tomorrow, when the USWNT and Italy play for the 2nd and final time in the UEFA-CONCACAF Play-off.

USWNT vs. Italy- Tomorrow is the big game everyone. This is the game that will decide the final World Cup berth. It all comes down to this. After tomorrow, we'll know each and every team who is headed for Germany in 2011. The game is at 1pm Central time, which means it will be on at 2pm ET. The game is taking place in Chicago, USA, but despite that fact, ESPN and FSC have refused to televise the game. Although, 75 other countries worldwide have recognized the extreme importance of this game, and they will be televising it. Thanks a heap ESPN and FSC, you're both pathetic. Cannot believe our WNT, who is #1 in the world, plays a do-or-die WWCQ in this country, and they can't even get the game on TV. Such Bull. ESPN3.com is great and all, but some people cannot receive the program. And in all honesty, a game of this magnitude and level of importance should be on TV in the first place. Period.

That's all for today everyone. I'll be sure to cover the results of tomorrow's match (I'm already anxious and excited!) and then after that, its on to the World Cup Group Draw, this Monday. See you all soon!

Denise
